GitHub
Create a fine-grained personal access token. Nexxus uses it to read repository metadata, commits, and diffs. It does not need write access.
- 1Open GitHub’s token creator
Use our prefilled link. Sign in to GitHub if prompted.
Open GitHub token creator ↗ - 2Choose the resource owner
Select your personal account or the organization that owns the repositories you want Nexxus to analyze.
- 3Select repositories
Choose “All repositories” or limit access to specific company repositories. Specific repositories are safest.
- 4Confirm read-only permissions
Do not grant write, administration, secrets, workflow, or deployment permissions.
- 5Generate and copy the token
GitHub shows it once. Copy the value beginning with
github_pat_, return to Nexxus, and paste it into the GitHub field.
